Why I’m Running

I’m running for Jacksonville Florida - City Council District 12- Westside ! because district 12 deserves a future where the needs of our community come first — not one where they take a back seat to politics as usual.

As a resident of district 12 I have seen many changes, wins, frustrations, obstacles and feelings of powerlessness within our community. I plan to continue the act of public service by listening, understanding and representing All of district 12. I have been involved with city council for the last decade and I feel I can help bridge the gap between community and local government. I want to work for the district and the city in the same manner in which I have worked my whole life , with commitment, perseverance, integrity, laughter and kindness. My motivation to run comes from my relationships with Family, Friends, and God; fueling my desire   to lead with facts, hope and respect. I believe we can do better, and I’m ready to fight for a  Jacksonville that works for everyone.
